HVSG + Compounds

High-viscosity synthetic gels/compounds.

This breakthrough marks a major advance in synthetic lubrication technology, combining ultra-pure high-viscosity bases with synergistic EP/AW additives, ideal for the sugar industry and other demanding heavy-duty applications. Driven by the need to replace asphalt-based lubricants with more effective and environmentally friendly technologies, this innovation not only improves lubrication performance but also significantly reduces environmental pollution. The initial advancement of this technology reduced lubricant consumption to just one-tenth of previous levels, while delivering superior lubrication results. The next evolution was the development and implementation of “compounds” capable of further reducing consumption by up to one-third compared to HVSG levels.

Calcium sulfonate-based (Excellent greases for bearings)

It represents a significant advance in improving the properties of thickeners, replacing those usually obtained through additives. Its use in grease formulations offers notable advantages, such as exceptional resistance to water contamination, durability under high-temperature working conditions, exceptional ability to withstand heavy loads, superior corrosion protection, and mechanical stability. LAAPSA offers customized solutions for each industrial segment and application based on this innovative concept.

RISTECH

Created and developed entirely by LAAPSA, this technology represents a significant evolution of PD/Plastic Deformation technology. It is an exclusive additive technology that improves the surface roughness of elements subjected to high loads and friction. The result is a resettlement effect that provides up to four times more surface contact compared to conventional additives. The RISTECH additive package adapts to changing load conditions, preventing, reducing, or stopping the progression of micro-pitting, pitting, and scratching. This technology can extend component life up to five times by minimizing wear, reducing energy consumption and noise, and increasing lubricant longevity up to 20,000 hours (*)(*) under optimal conditions.

Food-grade lubricants

The constant increase in health requirements affecting both the food and pharmaceutical industries means that lubricant formulations must be adapted to these needs. In both sanitary and operational aspects, lubricants certified by the NSF in the US, the entity that regulates food safety standards, have demonstrated excellent performance in various equipment lubrication environments with formulations that comply with the H1 standard. Whether oils, greases, or pastes, LAAPSA’s offering meets most of these demanding situations.

The new BioTech family is made from raw materials that guarantee the three fundamental aspects of these lubricants: Biodegradability / Ecotoxicity / Bioaccumulation.
