FLUIDS AND GELS
For over twenty years, LAAPSA has offered specific solutions for the lubrication of open gears, large, highly stressed crowns and bearings, and in closed or semi-closed gearboxes used in the mining, cement, and sugar cane milling industries. By providing a variety of fluids and gels that cover a wide spectrum of viscosities, LAAPSA has successfully developed special industrial lubricants, including a product line suitable for the food industry, backed by NSF H1 and H2, and SENASA H1 certifications. These products possess unique properties, such as high/very high adhesion, translucent gels for inspecting mechanisms in operation, synthetic gels, and gels with solids.
Open Gears
At LAAPSA, we produce lubricants to improve the smoothness of gear surfaces.
In open gears viscosity is the main factor of our lubricants since they operate at low speeds (15 rpm) where viscosities up to 2,200 cst. (AGMA 9005-E) are needed.
Bearings
Synthetic technology lubricants that combine ultra-pure, high-viscosity bases with synergistic EP/AW additive components, suitable for use in the sugar industry and other heavy-duty applications. These lubricants arise from the need to transition from asphalt-based lubricants to more appropriate technologies that improve lubrication performance while significantly reducing environmental contamination levels.
