Ristech®’s work is different, what happens?
If we analyze conventional EP additives, it happens that their sulfur/phosphorus components, when interfering roughness ridges come into contact, become brittle and are removed to avoid micro-welding and remain as acid residues. If we investigate the function of solid additives (graphite, Molybdenum, Teflon), it turns out that they do not have sufficient stability to remain in the friction points.
In the case of the ristech® component elements, they diffuse into the surface roughness, achieving the effect of lamination of the roughness at the micro level, and consequently, due to the load, a non-abrasive plastic deformation. This resettlement effect achieves up to 4 times more support surface compared to conventional additives, and all this, without the generation of metallic particles or residues of acidifying additives.
